Glen Rankin
Kahuna
Glen started AD-Vantage Marketing back in the summer of 1984. Glen
honed his direct marketing skills with the Eddie Bauer company in
Seattle where he started in telephone sales and worked his way up
the corporate ladder to the Manager of Mail Order. Then came the
urge to move back to California for “greener pastures… and sunnier
skies”. AD-Vantage started on the kitchen table fueled by the skills
from Eddie Bauer, the motivation of a great idea, and an empty stomach.
In addition to overseeing the daily operations of the company, planning
for the future, budgeting and all that “boring” stuff, Glen enjoys
working with customers on the phone. After all, “there’s no better
way to keep your finger on the pulse to know what the customer needs.”
“We are a customer-driven service business! Take away the service
and you may as well fold up your tent.”
Glen graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in
Business Management. He and his wife enjoy their hobbies. She has
horses and Glen has horsepower. That is, Glen enjoys sneaking out
from work a bit early to enjoy his hobby of restoring ‘60’s Chevy
muscle cars. If you can’t reach him at work, try looking under the
Chevelle.
